Every Indian trademark status the API returns, from New Application to Registered, what each one means, and how to filter trademark search by status.
Every trademark has a status: the Trade Marks Registry's one-line state of the application, exactly as IP India shows it. Get Trademark Details returns it, and Search Indian Trademarks filters on it with statuses, a comma-separated list of the values below:
Use the values exactly as written, including capitals and punctuation. For what each status means for the applicant, the deadlines it starts and how many marks are in it, see Trademark Status in India: Every Status Explained.

Rare statuses
A few statuses appear on fewer than a thousand marks each, such as Under Division, Send Back to EDP, Gone to court, Review, Appeal, Stay of Registration, Opposition Withdrawn and Opposition Dismissed. For a mark in one of them, its latest documents in Get Trademark Details say what happened.
Status and alert
Next to status, a mark may have an alert: a note the Registry shows on the mark's page about what's pending, such as Awaiting Reply to Examination Report, Ready for Show cause Hearing or Request for amendment is Pending for processing. Read both: the status says where the application stands, the alert says what's waiting. Search filters on it with alerts.
