Trademark documents
Open and download every document on a trademark's file, from examination reports and hearing notices to registration certificates, and see the new documents on your marks in one list.
Every trademark application builds up a file of documents at the Registry: the application itself, the examination report, your reply, hearing notices, opposition papers and, at the end, the registration certificate. TM Manager lets you open any of them without searching the e-register yourself.
Where to find documents
| Where | What you see |
|---|---|
| A mark's details | every document on that mark's file, with its date. Open any mark from a table or from TM Status. |
| All Updates → New Documents | the new documents on the marks in your portfolio, for the last 3, 7 or 30 days. Search by application or opposition number, mark or owner. |
| Tasks | the document behind each task, such as the examination report you need to reply to. |
Open and download
Select a document to open it. It opens as a PDF that you can read in the app or save.
Credits
Opening a document uses half a credit: in practice 1 credit for every two documents. Opening the same document again within an hour is free.
Tips
- Late examination reports: if a report reached the e-register well after its date, it's flagged in Tasks so you can choose the reply's due date.
- Client updates: download the documents you need, then export the related tasks as Excel or PDF from Tasks.
Next
- Plans and credits: what uses credits and how your monthly limit works.
